The jury trial of the Svyatoshinsky district court in Kyiv has changed a preventive measure to a former specialist "Berkut" officer Sergei Tamptyrui on a remand in custody at a round-the-clock house arrest in the case "Killings of the people on February 20, 2014 during EuroMaydan". In its decision, the court noted that the Prosecutor's Office, supporting the prosecution in court, did not prove the expediency of continuing the detention of Sergei Tamptury. Such a release from custody confirms the arguments of more than 5 years of judicial and pre-trial investigation of the case of defense lawyers in the person of lawyers Alexander Goroshinsky, Stefan Rezhko, Igor Bartholomeyev regarding the lack of legal grounds for detention of employees of the former special unit "Berkut", as the prosecution, filed by the prosecutor's office, is false and unverified evidence.
