Registration of ownership

Ownership of immovable property (land, buildings, buildings, structures, apartments, residential and non-residential premises, facilities under construction, enterprises as the only property complex) is subject to state registration and arises from the moment of such registration.

State registration of real rights to real estate is the official recognition and confirmation by the state of the fact of the occurrence, transition or termination of rights to real estate, encumbrances of such rights via the entering of the corresponding record in the State Register of real rights to immovable property.

State registration of rights to immovable property and their encumbrances is carried out by the State Registrar of Rights to Immovable Property of the state registration body, as well as by notaries as special subjects on which the functions of the state registrar are assigned.

Ownership of immovable property is subject to state registration in case of its occurrence, transition or termination, for example:
after the introduction of the constructed object into operation, reconstruction on the basis of a court decision on the recognition of the title to the property, which entered into force after the carrying out of any notarial transaction with a real estate object (purchase, sale,  donation, etc.) and in other cases, established by law.
